My children have grown more involved with their iPads, with digital movies, with their Nintendo Switch, and with their Oculus Quest. Favoring the Ready Player One lifestyle, even their school went digital. With so much time spent in the digital world, we needed quality listening tech to enjoy the music, books, lectures, movies, etc. With so little free spending money available, we wanted an inexpensive option that would provide many of the bells and whistles, without breaking the bank. When I first saw these earbuds, the first thing that came into my mind is the aesthetics. It is not the earbuds that make it look good, it is the case and its cover that look super sick!!!! Pamu earbuds have been known for a while and the manufacturer, Padmate Tech has a good reputation in bringing out the best earbuds at a very reasonable price. Some of their hottest products include Pamu Scroll and Slide. Pamu Unique is a new addition to their family and is by far the best-looking earbuds in their collection. Not only limited just to look, but the Unique earbuds also have a ton of cool features that make it stand apart from others in a similar price point.

One of the best features I liked is the USB Type C option. In 2020 and beyond, more and more gadgets are adopting USB C over the micro USB for charging purpose and it is a good practice. USB C is much much faster when compared to micro USB. Pamu Unique is equipped with a USB C port that can charge the case so fast that 5 minutes of charge would give you 1 hour of playtime which is crazy. Also, the product has a wireless charging option which is a mess (at least for me) because you don’t want to carry its base all around with you.

These earbuds have a 400mAh battery which gives a playtime of about 30 hours. There are touch controls on the outer surface of the buds. Some of the other features include water resistance, noise-canceling, auto-pairing which are common in most of the other earbuds in this price range.

The case comes with a replaceable cover that can be changed daily. You will get 3 covers with the product and I believe there is an option to buy more. The covers are so beautiful and I think girls will love it. If you are looking to buy good looking earbuds, Pamu Unique earbuds is the go-to, highly recommended because if their brand reputation and product features.

Don’t worry, I’d never heard of them either. I was sent them out of China with little or no expectations. Be it the Qualcomm aptX chip on board, or just great engineering, these things blew my mind.

Let me be clear, these are $109 headphones. I’ve seen them on Amazon at $109, and I know you can get them for a touch less than that including delivery online. But you should also know these don’t have any Australian certification or testing, nor do they come with protection from Australian Consumer Law in terms of warranty. If you’re keen to roll the dice, you won’t be disappointed. These are feature packed.

The playtime is 10 hours! With another 20 hours in the charging case ready to go. That’s a hell of a lot of play-time by any measure. When you need a recharge for the case – it has Qi wireless charging.

There are fantastic touch controls on the sides of each earbud with single tap for play and pause, double-tap for track forward on the right ear, double tap on the left ear for voice assistant. And, touch and hold each for volume up or volume down. That number of on-bud feature controls is way more than what’s possible with Apple’s AirPods.

PaMu Slide Mini with great features are useless with poor quality audio though, so that’s a risk, but I was impressed with the quality of sound from these tiny earbuds.

Using one of the four eartips which come in the box, you find a snug fit and you’ll get great sound – I can’t imagine you’d be disappointed, particularly given what you’re paying.

They look good, the charging case is very portable and sits flat on your desk while charging the earbuds inside. I was really impressed. Good sound, great features, amazing value.

If you didn’t notice towards the end of last year, then you will definitely be aware for 2020.  This year we will see more & more earbuds from various companies.  This is one of them.  This is the PaMu Slide Mini by Padmate.  Last year, we reviewed the PaMu Slide and loved them.  There aren’t too many differences between the 2 for the most part – outside of the size of the carrying cases.  With that said, a lot of things will be similar to the ones we reviewed last year.   So we’ve been using these guys for a few weeks now and we’re ready to speak our piece on them.  This is our PaMu Slide Mini review.

The Slide Minis as earbuds are exact same size but the carrying case is massively smaller.  Its a lot smaller size and offering a deep, capsule shape w/ 4 LED dots to display its battery life.  More on that aspect in a few.

The PaMu Slide Mini TWS Headphones Excellent Value for Money

I have been testing the Pamu Slide Mini for some time now and let me put it simple, They are great value for money and straight out of the gate I can easily recommend these, It is not often I say so early in a review but when credit is due you get it,the same way if it is not.

Comfort is great and they have stems which some do not like but they are thicker and shorter than Airpods for example and there is a fine balance here as to how comfortable and stable they are in the ears,they will not fall out which is important.

Controls are great too with easy to use touch commands including access to voice assistants, You can skip tracks but not reverse, You can higher and lower volume,play and pause music and control calls here, the only feature missing is auto pause when you remove which is not a huge deal for me.

When it comes to music quality these are fantastic, Not a huge deep bass but offers more in how your audio is delivered, Highs lows and mids are great but where these shine is with direction and really immerse you into your chosen media, For example watching Netflix or You Tube and a car is passing or similar you can hear this moving from one side to the other giving you a true to life experience rather than centred and this is something I have not seen too often in true wireless earphones. There is also no lag latency either.

In contrast, Apple Powerbeats Pro has 9 hours of listening time and the bulkier case can only add another 24 hours extra. However in all fairness, the Powerbeats Pro can deliver a stronger and more satisfying bass – which requires extra power.

The case has LED indicators to indicate how much battery it has left, but the LEDs will lit up only when you place the earbuds inside the case – and not when you open the case up (which I prefer).

To my surprise, the charging case supports Qi wireless charging so if you have a wireless charger for charging your phone, you can use it to charge the PaMu Slide Mini case wirelessly. For some reason, my 3SIXT Wireless Charger doesn’t seem to work with it, but it’s charging fine with my Cygnett Wireless Charger and Belkin BOOSTUP Wireless Charger.
